Hi Ben .

The cam cover is away being skimmed and should be back this week .

Cheers Paul

I plan to get the engine running next week and then crack on with the paintwork .

Cheers Mark . Its testing me at the moment but still enjoying building it the best I can .

Doddy thanks for comment . I used a camera to get an exact match of the paint for my underside topcoat colour . But if you look at my pictures of my underside in Epoxy Primer that is RAL 7035 Light Grey and it is a good colour match . Get a aerosol and test it before you do the full job .

Glad you like it Roy .

Got a bit of free time so spent two days guide coating and blocking the primer on the shell  . Then got it masked up and painted . Gave it a quick polish will give it a good detail and wax when its all painted . Really happy with the original overspray look now . Thanks  Paul for convincing me to do it .

Apologies for the pictures being  out of order I do not know what the f--k I am doing wrong ??

Hi Roy

I prepared them with a grey scotch-brite pad then applied a coat of plastic primer/promoter then gave them a coat of clear coat . Hope this helps .

I am the look out for some new  ones but these will do for now .
