Its not a resto ,,,,Honest ,,

Recommended Posts

Well i got the car in the workshop today and had a real good look round

The front right side has suffered a little nock and the bumper frame was twisted that made the bumper fit poor and also the wing was pushed over and the grille didnt fit ,,so ,, of came the bumper  :)

i removed the frame and spent an hour getting it back into the correct shape and then bonded the bumper skin back onto the now straight frame

I pulled the wing back out and now the grill fits  ;D

bumpers go to the paintshop tomorrow

Did a few more jobs today

moved the intercooler back into the correct place , and this allowed the lights to fit much better , so now the grille also fits better

cleaned the glass on the lights and it looks sooooo much better all level

Oh, sent the grille for paint also  ;D

I also fitted black bonnet vents  :)

Looking sooo much better already Paul, amazing what a nice set indicators, proper fog grills and splitter can do, attention to detail, and the black bumpers look great.  8)

Can't wait to see it in the flesh next yr.

Your additions/ mends really make this 500 look the dogs dangles

I reckon at some point this real 500 racer will win a concours event lol

I love the black and yellow scheme, and it's nice to knowMr 500  finally has a great 500, as in motor sport guise, as you've had road spec stunners for years :)

Bad news is that it pulled some paint off  :'(
