RS 500 Registrar 11 Report post Posted February 4, 2013 I believe some of the aussie cars ran hollinger boxes, might be an issue if they come over next year.we are working to 1990 regs Paul so hollinger is out unless we relax the rules as we go , or make a exception for the aussie boys , who knows as we are still in the very early stages and trying very hard to find a common ground to suit everyone As they say , you cant please all of the people all of the time , BUT , if we work together im sure we will get thereĀ

RS 500 Registrar 11 Report post Posted February 5, 2013 Im at talking about inner arches that have been modded for wider tyres , NOT tubbed for thunder saloon I know all have had arches rolled etc , but excessive modding will not be allowed ( exactly the same as it was back in the day )
ian g 1 Report post Posted February 5, 2013 hi all hope you are wellhave we sorted the brakes yet by going to bigger wheels ie 18 you can fit bigger brakes there needs to be a max size of the disc i would like to run period brakes as they are easy to gettrust we are talking about like for like suspension notĀ 34 or 5 way for what its worth my vote would be to run the cars to the rules of the day i accept the first race will be a bit up and down but after that the cars need to be as they were if you look at any of the classic racing that has lasted its all run to fia rules from the period with few if any changes (just look at fia cortinas still massive grids there 50 this year all app k fia )ian
