    Ha!, good to hear Andy, sounds like you love to tinker just like me, looks as if you have some virtually unique toys still :-)
    I wont have a 500 again but this is still a great site to catch up with like minded people so hope you stay on board as well.

    You should be very proud of getting together a fantastic collection of the beasts from all over the world.
    The RS500 fully deserves its place in motorsport history.

    Thats the baby :-) it was the 1987 GP support race so would have still been  3dr spec like the pic as it was before August.

    Temp gauge works off the sensor in the head just in front of the turbo, and as Paul said the fans work off the sensor in the rad. The ecu monitors water temp via the blue sensor in the back of the head on the inlet side.
