  1. cooper rings ??

They are wire rings or wire rung as some refer to them as, had a block like this myself years ago, not used very often now since wrc steel multi layer gasket was introduced.
  2. Look what's just arrived back in the uk

That's good news back where it belongs! Is the owner going to display it or use it at any shows?
  3. Manuel Reuter xr4ti

That sounds good what other 2 do u know about? Yeah I often wonder what happens to the rouse one that was found, iv started a few threads to try and find out but nothing. The original owner was offered all the original 2.3 Lima rouse engines at the time too, someone in Ireland had them all, shame it all went quiet.
  4. RS500 T4 turbo compressor housing.

Are these available new from any where ? or does anyone have a used one? dont mind the later type with garret printed on.
  5. Manuel Reuter xr4ti

What a cool car, mad to think whats hidden away, a great find. There cant be many ex group a xr4ti's left as most were converted to cosworth then rs500. I can only think of one other and thats in the ford cologne museum.
  6. TLR3/4

It's very hard to trace these cars, so many little differences but all very interesting. Would be great to buy the car back, would be a sound investment for sure.
  7. texaco egmo feature in this months fast ford.

It's certainly hard work trying to work out which car is which with all these little changes! Very interesting though.
  8. texaco egmo feature in this months fast ford.

    That would be good Paul.
  9. texaco egmo feature in this months fast ford.

Interesting info, so of the 6 at least 4 still exist. Would be good to get some more info on the other ones to try establish if their ex texaco or egmo cars stickered up as texaco.
  10. texaco egmo feature in this months fast ford.

Thanks for clearing that up all makes sense now. That means there 4 texaco cars then?
  11. texaco egmo feature in this months fast ford.

The feature car is chassis number 99269 and the current owner is Neil macfarquhar who purchased it off oakfields. Doesn't mention it being for sale at the time of the feature.

  13. texaco egmo feature in this months fast ford.

It does say its martins old car in the feature as found in a japanese museum and bought back to the uk by martin.Maybe the feature was done a long time ago and only now it is being published? Il take some pics later and try upload them on here, its a good feature with lots of interesting info, theres also a feature on Jim whelans touring car in performance ford magazine this month, but its a shockingly bad feature with no info on the car at all, a few good pictures though. This car is also for sale currently.
  14. texaco egmo feature in this months fast ford.

Interesting. The current owner of the car in the fast ford feature has had it for a few years and owns a ford dealership. He has recently had it rebuilt ready to use. The car pictures above theses not much info on that other than its part of a collection, that must make 4 then if the ex rally cross car is ex texaco?
  15. texaco egmo feature in this months fast ford.

Be nice too know where all them spares ended up with the Bastos car too, looked like enough to build another car and have plenty left over!
